Starting its life as an online dance music
publication, Elation Industries grew a notorious
reputation during its period of promoting new
music to the masses. However, as its audience
began to expand, so did its brand, with the creation of their brand-new record label which is set to get its first release this Spring.

Based across both Brighton and London, two influential meccas of electronic sounds in the UK, they’ve been able to use their knowledge and influence in welcoming artists into their roster.
Specialising in the worlds of leftfield and techno, their debut release comes from 24-year-old producer Kleur, hailing from Lanarkshire, Scotland.

His raw, technoid signature bursts with the seven years of experience he’s spent in the industry, with an impressive skill set which provides a production standard intimidating to even the most longstanding artist. With their platform tying heavily into the warehouse scenes that are prominent in areas such as London and Glasgow, their main aim is to inspire their audience, something they’ve done through the music they’ve previously introduced to their underground podium.

However, now they’re pushing their creativity through their roster, with Kleur being the first artist to help set them on their journey.

‘Protocol 1’ is a monumental part of Elation Industries path and together with Kleur, they begin to build their identity as a releasing label. It’s the type of track which would take you deep into the early morning light of any large-scale club, with thick, stabbing subs carrying the mix alongside its cutting drum sequences. Beat relays take you up into each breakdown and Kleur ensures ‘Protocol 1’ is laid out with all its twists and turns for the listener, progressing with expert certainty. This is Kleur’s debut on the label and its sure to be a fruitful one.

With another release slated for May, Elation Industries have more new music on the horizon for 2020. They’re only just beginning to stretch their legs and they’ve drawn in several artists with the same creative scope of figures like Kleur, which will, in turn, ensure the label’s success.
